Charles Aznavour awards certificates to group of Swiss Armenians

10 January, 2012

Armenia’s Embassy in Switzerland was the venue on Jan 10, 2012 for the official presentation of certificates and letters of acknowledgement to representatives of the Swiss-Armenian community and Armenian organizations.

During the event, Armenia’s Ambassador to Switzerland Charles Aznavour thanked the recipients for their contribution to Armenian culture and preservation of the Armenian identity. The Ambassador noted that these certificates and letters of acknowledgement, which are given in connection with the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, are symbolic and an expression of appreciation for the dedicated activities, by all Armenians and foreign personalities alike, in the establishment of independent Armenia.
