Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Switzerland

On September 24 in New York Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, held a meeting with the Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Ignazio Cassis.

The interlocutors, touching upon the active political dialogue between Armenia and Switzerland, emphasized that it provides a solid foundation for cooperation on various platforms, including within the framework of Switzerland’s Chairmanship of the OSCE.

In the context of regional developments, Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of the initialed peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and unblocking of communications on the basis of fundamental principles,agreed on August 8 in Washington.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Ignazio Cassis also touched upon humanitarian issues.
