Newly appointed Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation presented the copy of her credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia

On September 12, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received Andrea Barbara Baumann, the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the Republic of Armenia on the occasion of presenting the copy of her credentials.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues on the Armenia-Swiss bilateral agenda was discussed. The sides emphasised the need to enhance cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

The Deputy Foreign Minister presented the agreements reached in Washington within the process of normalisation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as Armenia’s vision on further steps towards enhancing regional connectivity and developing trade and economic cooperation.

The interlocutors exchanged views on current regional and international issues.
