Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Switzerland

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Ignazio Cassis, the Head of The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

Regional security issues were at the center of discussions during the meeting.

Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest developments in the South Caucasus, including the efforts made by Armenia in the direction of signing the peace treaty with Azerbaijan. Ararat Mirzoyan highlighted the constructive approach shown by Armenia through presentation of the 10th edition of the draft peace treaty and the proposal to sign the already agreed text of the treaty.
