The Co-Chairs of the Switzerland-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group on Tuesday sent letters to all members of both chambers of the Swiss Parliament, expressing deep concern over Azerbaijan's ongoing military aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), and Turkey’s military support to this aggression.

In their letters, the Swiss parliamentarians condemned the perpetrators of this aggression turning the Armenian civilian population, as well as the healthcare, cultural, and religious institutions into military targets.

Also, the Co-Chairs of the Switzerland-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group expressed a conviction that the protection of the Armenian population requires the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh's independence, as was once done in the case of Kosovo.
