Ambassador Hasmik Tolmajian, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the UN Office and other International Organisations in Geneva, met with Ambassador Thomas Greminger, Executive Director of the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), to discuss issues related to cooperation in the area of international and regional security and peacebuilding.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of promoting dialogue and constructive cooperation in addressing global security challenges. Ambassador Greminger provided information on GCSP initiatives, in particular, within the framework of Track 2 diplomacy aimed at promoting global security. The Ambassador of Armenia emphasized Armenia’s commitment and efforts to contribute to strengthening security and establishing peace in the region, and presented the latest developments in the South Caucasus. Ambassador Greminger highly appreciated Armenia’s contribution to establishing peace in the region.

The meeting also discussed the possibilities of implementing joint programs that are in line with the GCSP mission and mandate. The meeting highlighted the shared vision of both sides in strengthening multilateralism and building sustainable security systems.
