Karabakh President meets with group of Swiss MPs

President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the city of Bern to meet with a group of deputies representing leading parties of Swiss parliament.

A wide range of issues related to life in Nagorno-Karabakh, bilateral relations, the Azerbaijani-Karabakh peace process and regional developments were discussed during the meeting.

President Sahakyan underlined that Karabakh was interested in establishing firm ties with the Swiss Confederation.

Bako Sahakyan noted that the NKR is especially interested in Swiss experience in agriculture and education spheres.

Head of the central information department of the office of the NKR President David Babayan, envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Switzerland Satenik Abgaryan, secretary of the Armenian-Swiss parliamentary friendship group Sargis Shahinyan and other officials were present at the meeting.
