03.09.2017 • Celebration of 20th Anniversary of Komitas Switzerland-Armenia humanitarian organization in Geneva

On September 3, 20th anniversary of KASA - Komitas Switzerland-Armenia humanitarian union was celebrated at the Armenian Center of Geneva. Mrs. Hasmik Tolmajyan, Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Swiss Confederation, made opening remarks, expressing gratitude to Mrs. Monique Bondolfi-Masraff, President of KASA, and to Dario Bondolfi, for their long-term humanitarian activities in Armenia.

14.05.2016 • Event in Geneva dedicated to 71st anniversary of the victory in Great Patriotic War

On May 14, an event dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War was held in Geneva with the participation of the permanent representations of the CIS countries. The event was launched with the speech of Ambassador Aleksey Borodavkin, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation, followed by Ambassador Yuri Ambrazevich, Permanent Representative of Belarus, and Mrs. Hasmik Tolmajyan, Envoy of the Republic of Armenia. 13.05.2016 • Concert of “Little singers” choir in Geneva

On May 13, the concert of “Little singers” of Armenia was held in the famous Victoria concert hall of Geneva. The tour in Switzerland including a number of concerts of this talented choir lead by Tigran Hekekyan, was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Armenia, and the concert in Geneva was organised in support of the Syrian refugees of Armenian origin. From April 27 to May 1, with the efforts of the “Hagop Topalian” Armenian foundation, Armenia took part in the annual Geneva Book and Press Fair.   Numerous publications of recent years in Armenian and foreign languages have been exhibited in the Armenian stand. During the five days of the Fair, along with the exhibition of books, several lectures had been organized on the topics of Armenian history, culture, art and tourism, as well as on Armenian Genocide and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. On October 1, H.E. Mr. Charles Aznavour, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations Office in Geneva, hosted an official reception at the Grand Ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Armenia.
