The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations Office in Geneva participated in the Annual UN Charity Bazaar organized by the United Nations Women’s Guild.

The Armenian stall was presented by different Armenian products, including the selection of Armenian cognac, wine and crafts, as well as various souvenirs presenting Armenia’s history and culture.

Mr. Michael Moller, Director-General of the United Nations Office in Geneva, Mr. Choi Kyonglim, President of the UN Human Rights Council, heads of international organizations and diplomatic missions accredited in Geneva, as well as numerous visiors of the Bazaar visited the Armenian stall.

The sum generated from the sale of the Armenian products have been transferred to the UN Women’s Guild fund with the aim of financing the charity projects for disadvantaged children.

Information Note: Every year, the United Nations Women's Guild in Geneva, in collaboration with the Permanent Missions accredited to the United Nations, the Geneva government authorities and business community organizes an International Bazaar and Lottery to raise funds for disadvantaged children around the world. The UNWG Bazaar attracts more than 6 000 visitors and raises approximately 300 000 CHF..
