Ambassador Andranik Hovhannisyan delivered a lecture on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict at the University of Geneva

On 12 October 2021 the University of Geneva hosted Ambassador Andranik Hovhannisyan, the Permanent Representative of Armenia to the UN Office in Geneva, as a guest speaker for the seminar on the “Art and science of negotiations”. Students from the University of Geneva, Zurich Federal Technological Institute and Moscow Institute of International Relations participated in the seminar which was dedicated to the diplomatic efforts towards resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Micheline Calmy-Rey, the former President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, chairs the Program.

Ambassador Hovhannisyan elaborated on the history of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, legal aspects of its settlement and negotiation process. He briefed on the current stage of the conflict and answered to the questions of students.
