General Information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Swiss Confederation were established on 5 January 1992.

On 30 January 2009 Charles Aznavour was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Switzerland (with residence in Geneva).

On 16 August 2013 Lukas Gasser, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Armenia, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan.
